We are so grateful for our Medellín/Rionegro team – the Bonhams, the McCalls, and the Bersaches!Merry Christmas! We pray that you are well and enjoying the season. Thank you for partnering with us! As we ponder Advent and the longing of God’s people for the Messiah’s first coming, we are reminded that we share in that longing – the longing the second coming and for Jesus to heal and restore us once and for all.
Brief Update:

Retreat and Conferences: Thank you for your prayers! Our missionary retreat went amazingly smoothly with wonderful times of fellowship, worship, and reconnection. Our training conference was referred to as the best event that we have ever held. Pray that the Lord would use these to further the advancement of his kingdom.

Visas & Housing: We are still in visa and housing limbo.  We’re currently here as ‘tourists’ due to the complications in working through the new laws, and we won’t be able to get things worked out until mid-year at the earliest. The owner of our house is working through a proposal for us to stay here, but we’re not yet sure it will be a reasonable option for us. The rental market inflation has been crazy here, and a lot of people are trying to cash in. Please pray that we can find a suitable option.

Holidays: It’s nice to have things slow down a bit for us to catch our breath. We’re grateful to have some of the kids visiting for Christmas and Amy’s birthday. The newlyweds won’t be able to join us, and the sadness of a first Christmas without Mary Beth in the house is starting to hit, but we’re so happy for them having a chance to start creating their own traditions as a couple.   Thank you for your love, encouragement, gifts, and prayers! You are our partners in the gospel, and we couldn’t be here without you. Merry Christmas!
