Dear friends,
Here’s just a quick note to catch you up on some of the details of our transitions.
Moving: Lord willing, we move back to the USA this week. Due to restrictions on bringing in pets from Chile, our itineraries got a bit complicated. We can only fly with our dog as far as Miami. So from there, we’ll have a long drive up to Tennessee starting Wednesday morning. We hope to be in Columbia (just south of Nashville) and settling in this coming weekend. Please pray that we’ll be able to get all our luggage and Maya (our golden retriever) without major complications.
Ministry: During this time in the USA our normal ministry responsibilities continue. I will be serving our missionaries through prayer, regular communication, field visits, and more. Amy will be continuing to serve pastors’ and church planters’ wives via the ministry of Parakaleo. We will also be looking to connect with our supporters, friends, and family during this temporary stay in the US. Hopefully we can see you soon!
Support: Thank you so much for all of your support. We had a strong year-end, which positions us to continue serving without additional hindrances. Just as a point of clarification on my new role: we are still needing ongoing financial support. My travel budget is now covered from other sources, but our salary, insurance, and so forth still come from our supporters’ generosity. Thank you so much for helping us serve! |
