Dear friends,
Thank you so much for you prayers, love, and encouragement!
In Mission to the World, our longing is to see the gospel of the Kingdom advancing throughout the world. Over the last few months, we’ve been praying and thinking and collaborating with others to see how we can do this better.
In June, I had the chance to go to Monterrey, Mexico to meet with various of our leaders. We spent 3 days together praying and planning for growing church planting movements. One of the big needs in Mexico is for pastors to feel connected and to have mentoring relationships. One of the outcomes of this time together is a retreat this coming January for pastors and church planters throughout northern and western Mexico.
In early July, I was able to be part of the ‘Alianza Continental’ (Continental Alliance) in Lima, Peru. This was a gathering of about 30 colleagues, missions organization leaders, and Latin American nationals. We talked and prayed about how we can work more towards our common vision of the advancement of the kingdom. We were able to form some key relationships, and there are now ideas coming out to help us multiply our kingdom impact. |
